Summer
Hikers and mountain climbers will find a variety of tours in the Zillertal Nature Park. The offer for exercise in the great outdoors ranges from easy to difficult. Experience the naturalness of the Zillertal Alps on well-maintained trails with a total length of more than 200 km.
Mountainbiking & Cycling
The cycle paths and mountain bike trails will take you past Alpine meadows, through forests and streams up to an altitude of 2000 m. Breathtaking views and the anticipation of a speedy descent are just some of the reasons for a cycling holiday in the Zillertal. All those who prefer a gentler pace can enjoy a cycling trip along the wide valley floor.
Via Ferrate
Power up the wall! You will find 3 'via ferrate' of different levels of difficulty in the Zillertal. The "Zimmereben Klettersteig" is aimed at advanced climbers and professionals aged from 10 years upwards.
Canyoning & Rafting
The adventure sports of canyoning and rafting provide livelyfun on water. The River Ziller offers beginners an ideal rafting route for getting to grips with the sport. Discover the Zillertal from another perspective! Canyoning entails swimming, climbing or sliding in order to follow the course of the river, which over time has carved out the rock to create this wonderful landscape.
Golf Course Zillertal
Zillertal provides a unique location for all golf lovers, for unforgettable alpine style golf fun. The recently built Golfclub Zillertal, set in the midst of the mountains in Zillertal. The well-tended facilities tempt you to enjoy a superb time on the fresh greens and to show off your own golf talent. Perfect course conditions, unique fairways, action-packed greens, numerous bunkers and neat fairways are standard features in Golfclub Zillertal in Uderns. Beginners are also invited to practise tee-ing off during our taster courses and to dive into the realm of golf.
Paragliding
This aviation sport is possible all year round in the Zillertal because almost all of the cable cars are open in winter as well as summer. Discover the Zillertal from a bird's eye view flying on your own or as a tandem passenger with an experienced pilot!
Glacier skiing
Ski slopes as far as the eye can see and wonderful panoramic views. On Austria's only year-round ski slopes- the Hintertux Glacier - really passionate skiers can indulge in their hobby in summer as well!
